KALFI LEAD is a Philippine Youth Leadership Program
It is the flagship young leaders program of the Foundation. Its home is in the different study centers that KALFI organized in the Philippines.
Through leadership programs for youth in the Philippines, KALFI’s mission is to cultivate the character of female students through a holistic formation.
KALFI spearheads for more than 3 decades many youth development programs in the Philippines.
It arms young women with criteria on the way they communicate and interact with their family, peers and with people coming from all walks of life.
They project calm, exercise human virtues and demonstrate tangible qualities that inspire others to follow.
In short, they learn to carry their own environment even in the most adverse situations.

KALFI’s Brief History
Since its inception, KALFI has established study centers in key locations near major universities so they can be readily accessed by the female students. They are as follows:

Balanghai Study Center (1994) in Ortigas Center, Pasig City is the hub for students of University of Asia and the Pacific, and nearby high schools namely St Paul’s College, Poveda, Pasig Catholic School and Pasig City Science High School.
KALFI assists three other study centers owned by affiliate Foundations.
For more than three decades, KALFI has ensured the uninterrupted offering of year-round program of activities for youth development focused on character building and service to society. To accomplish this, the Study Centers are run by dedicated and competent Management Staff with the help of numerous volunteers. Each Study Center has a Patrons Association that ensures the sustainability of its funding and recruitment.
While our young leaders program is imbued with Christian ideals, it welcomes ladies coming from different races and creeds. Our qualification is particular about age, membership in student organizations, good academic standing and a strong desire to serve and make a difference in society.
Since our foundation’s inception in the early ‘80s, KALFI has proudly produced some of the most successful women in the private sector, the academe, and the government the country has seen. We strive to attract the most promising female intellectuals and develop the next generation of servant leaders who can contribute significantly to solving our nation’s social ills.
